Actually, you know what's funny? I actually know a guy who has checkered slip-on shoes like the guy in your drawing has, and he has a sister named Roxie...
Lol, and I really like how you integrated the piano-key neck-tie onto her outfit. Makes me think of Mugatu from Zoolander... XD Seriously though, taking a garment/accessory that's known for it's comical gawdiness and making it look stylish...that's great dude.
Whoa, now that's irony! Hehe, but that guy on the drawing...I kinda based it off me, but I don't look like that at all...ish. XD
Umm, Zoolander? I haven't seen it yet, but...hehe, really? Tell me about the necktie's comical gawdiness. XD

Anyway, piano-key necktie...yes yes. Will Ferrell's character, Mugatu, is this scheming fashion designer (the bad guy of the movie) who apparently got his big break in the fashion biz by inventing the piano-key necktie in the 80s. lol.
They don't directly address in the movie the comical gawdiness of the piano-key necktie, but in the US it's just another one of those gimmicky fashions that were crazy-popular when they first came out, but years later you look back on it and wonder "Oh God, why did people think those were cool?!" Kinda like mullets, lol.
Nowadays the only people you see wearing piano-key neckties are either weirdos or music teachers
Watch the movie. I command it
Well, I've seen the trailer before, & thought of watching it as soon as gets out, but (typical of me) I forgot.
Sheesh, I often forget important things, then remember the stupid and pointless ones. Ick.
Hehe, the 80's...glad I wasn't born before the era. I can't (or rather, I'd rather not) imagine myself being seen on the streets wearing whatever my dad wore when he was younger...
Although, probably 10-20 years from, whatever we thought was cool, we'll all regret it. That's why I never get into the trends, fads & other bullcrap people like these days.
